mobile lightroom preset & luts
The Forest
Overview
The Forest preset is one of my most loved preset and I have used it continously throughout my work. The Forest Presets are made with stronger shadows, more deep olive like greens & golden brown undertones. They’re made to create moody indoor as well as outdoor emotive scenes. They are versatile & work best with neutral earth tones, a bit underexposed, and emotive imagery.

The presets include different edits & variations of the similar base tones made for photos taken with smartphones, or photos taken with standard profile for cameras (Rec 709) & Raw photos. It also includes more intense variations of the similar base tones made for photos taken with my Custom Picture Profile or other photos with profiles that need more punch.
LUTs are basically like filter for videos, but they are made to use in video editing apps in order to retain original quality of your videos, while having the similar base tone as the presets.
The LUTs are similar to the presets but they are not 100% the same because presets have adjustments that cannot be replicated in LUTs.
The LUTs will not have additional adjustments such as grain, noise reduction, sharpening, smoothing.
My LUTS are made and tested for mobile apps like Lumafusion or VN, but feel free to use it with other softwares compatible with .Cube files like Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro.
I love playing with tone curves when creating my preset, therefore some tweaks may be needed depending on your original photos after applying the preset. See here for how to install & the suggested tweaks when using the presets. Suggested tweaks will be included in your downloads
Purposely built to be similar with the presets. Adjust the strength as needed and adjust your original videos. See here for more guidelines before using the LUTs & suggested tweaks when using the LUTs. Suggested Tweaks will be included in your downloads
See here for more video & detailed text instructions. The instructions will also be included in your downloads
DNG/ .CUBE Files all compressed in zip format digital downloads, all sales are final and there are no refunds or exchanges. Every purchase means you agree to never reproduce, or distribute my presets without consent. Legal action will be taken if necessary.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Presets are a quick way to edit your photos, but you’ll also need to learn how different settings, adjustments, and sliders work. While it’s quicker than doing everything manually, the presets I made is a base to make them all look unified with minimal adjustments needed after being applied.
As presets is only for photos in Lightroom, LUTS is like a preset for videos. It will improve the look of your high quality videos footages, making it appear consistent and unified with your photos. The LUTS I’ve created are based on my presets and can be used in iOS apps like Lumafusion, or desktop softwares that is able to import .cube files.
The LUTs may need a little bit tweaking.
In Lumafusion for iOS or iPhone, you can adjust the balance slider.
I am not a magician, and I cannot magically transform the colours of a photo / video with a single preset. The presets are made to create consistent theme and unify your pictures as a whole, whether it’s for a photo album or your instagram feed.
Each gadget, whether it is your camera or your phone, each different light at each place is different. In order to produce the same exact tone for a picture, you need the same exact gadget, with the same exact settings, at the same exact place, & with the same exact lighting. So each photo will probably need little bit of tweaking for it to be consistent and have a similar tone.
Suggested tweaks after applying preset: exposure, color, and dehaze in the effects tool.
If you juggle between your phone & camera like me, please read about Color Profile and the difference when using different gadgets at the next question.
Most of all, all pictures will look best with a good light source which is the sun. No presets can ever help improve poorly taken photos. Please take your time to learn about basic photography & lighting. The presets & LUTS are made to create the BASE, for a consistent theme and unify your photos & videos as a whole. The best way to be consistent is to shoot with the colours you want on your feed while the presets & LUTs will act as the base for that extra oomph and unite your photos/videos as a whole.
