About
Color Profile
There are many different profiles when using a camera. Most of the times I use a “flatter” / “neutral” profile setting for my camera. In sony, the camera I use, it is called Cine 2 or Cine 3 or S log, with S gamut. In fuji it is called F log & Eterna. In canon it is usually called c-log / cinestyle, and so on.
Basically, the reason why I choose a flat color profile is because I can edit it in a more uniform kind of way. If I use a standard color profile, all the photos will already have its contrast and color saturations set, it will be more difficult to adjust already set tones especially with the details.

You can see the difference between color profiles with some examples above.
With flat color profile, I can adjust the contrast and saturations more freely and I can easily bring out other details with Lightroom. With my presets, I have created different settings so you can achieve a similar look — whether you use standard color profile photos straight out of your phone / Camera or if you choose to use a flat camera profile like me. In most cases it will not be exactly the same, but they will still appear consistent with a similar base tone. Adjustments will still be needed most of the time.
